NEEDLES:
24" circular in size US 6 [4 mm] / spare circular in size US 6 [4 mm]
GAUGE:
22 sts and 44 rows = 4" [10 cm] in garter stripe pattern, after blocking
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Long-tail and backward loop cast ons, three-needle bind off, mattress stitch, picking up stitches (links provided); increasing, decreasing.
